General Instructions for Online OTR Registration

1. Click on https://otr.pariksha.nic.in to access the Home Page of the website for OTR registration.
2. First Step: For OTR registration, candidates should first enter their e-mail ID and mobile number and click on “Get OTP“ button. Then enter the OTP received on e-mail and mobile and click on Verify button to verify.
3. Second Step: Candidates should click on the Upload Photo and Signature option and upload their photo and signature and save it.
4. Third Step: After entering the required personal details like name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, caste, domicile state etc., the candidate should enter the verification captcha code and click on the register button to save the entered details.
5. Candidate should click on Submit button after entering the required details under Other Personal Details and Communication Details .
6. Candidate can get the OTR number instantly by clicking on “Get OTR (Immediately)” button.
7. Candidates can apply for the advertised post only after doing "Lock and Final Submit".
OTR Based Online Application Process
1. Click on https://uppsc.up.nic.in to access the Home Page of the website for online application..
2. Candidates are advised to read carefully the publications/releases "All Notifications/Advertisements" in "Employment Newspapers" on the Home Page of the Commission’s website before applying .
3. To view the detailed information of vacancies and posts, click the mouse on “All Notifications/Advertisements”menu.
4. On clicking the link "All Notifications/Advertisements", all the notifications will be displayed, out of which the candidate can apply by clicking the Apply button in front of any notification. Provided he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria .
5. On clicking the " Apply" button by the applicant, details of the advertised post will be displayed. After clicking the Authenticate with OTR button displayed against the post, on completion of the OTR authentication process, the Online Application Form Submission Process (Based on OTR) page will open. Applicants should click on the "Proceed " button displayed on the page.
6. After applicant clicks on " Proceed" button, application page will open with the basic details entered in OTR, where candidate should enter required qualification details for the post applied for and select age relaxation as per unpublished advertisement, then after entering the verification code shown in Enter Verification Code, click on "Proceed for Entering Other Details" button.
7. On clicking on “Proceed further for entering other details” by the applicant, a dialog box page will open. When clicking on "Kindly Proceed further for Candidate Dashboard Login" button displayed on the page, the applicant will be taken to the UPPSC Dashboard.
8. Applicants will reach the second section of the online application by clicking on the button “Submit Details (Part II)” given under the applied post on the UPPSC dashboard page.

9. After the applicant accepts the declaration by selecting "Preferred Qualification Details/Other Qualification Details" under the second section of the application form, enter the verification captcha code, and click on the "Preview Form" button to check the application form thoroughly. If the details are correct, click on the "Submit Application Form" button. Otherwise, if any modification is required, click on the "Edit" button and submit the application form after modifying the required details.
10. Clicking on the "Fee Confirmation Window" dialogue box will open. The candidate will be redirected to the fee payment page upon clicking the "Yes" button under the "Do You Want To Proceed For Fee Payment" option displayed on the page.
Fee Payment Process and Important Instructions
11. Candidates can pay the prescribed fee instantly through Credit Card/Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI or SBI E-Challan by following the instructions given on the website. On successful payment of the fee, the application form will be automatically submitted.
To pay the fee through challan, the candidate has to download the SBI e-challan and visit any SBI branch to pay the prescribed fee. After paying the fee, the applicant can log in to the Candidate Dashboard and check the fee payment status by clicking on the "Reconcile Your Payment through Double Verification Mode" button under the "Fee Deposition Status" option displayed on the page.
If for any reason a candidate is unable to pay the prescribed fee immediately, they can pay through Credit Card/Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI E-Challan during the fee payment period. After logging in through the "Candidate Dashboard Login" link on the main page of the UPPSC website, they can pay the fee by clicking on the "Pending Fee Payment" option under the application.
Note: Candidates are informed that unless the fee is paid for the respective post, their application will be considered incomplete.
  • If the applicant has entered incorrect details while starting the application, they must complete the application form and fee payment. After that, modify any details allowed for modification in the OTR, then log in from the UPPSC "Candidate Dashboard Login" and click on the "Sync App Data" button under the applied post to update the application form.

  • Candidates applying for the examination must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all stages of the examination is purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

  • UPPSC verifies eligibility conditions based on original documents at subsequent stages of the examination process.

  • Changes in the application form are permissible till the modification date.
LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:
The online application process must be completed (including Part-I and Part-II of the Form) before the last date of form submission as per the advertisement, after which the web-link will be disabled.
